 ogel\, General Manager\, Considered Products Nike\, Inc.\n</h4>\n<p>\n  Cur
 rently Lorrie is the General Manager for Nike's Considered team. Considered
  is the team responsible for introducing sustainable products and business 
 models. Prior to becoming the GM Lorrie was\n  the Innovation Director for 
 Nike Footwear\, Apparel and Equipment. Her innovative thinking has lead to 
 several new product technologies with patents to prove it. Her passion for 
 design\, innovation\n  and sustainability brought her to the role as a lead
 er in bringing sustainability to all facets of Nike product. Environmentall
 y sound shoes are one thing\, but to carry the Swoosh\, Nike Considered\n  
 products are still tasked with being authentic\, innovative\, with uncompro
 mising performance. With an Industrial Design Degree from Syracuse Universi
 ty\, Lorrie has become a leading expert in design\n  innovation. She starte
 d out as a Toy Designer working on products like "Speak and Spell"\, and th
 en moved into Advanced R&amp\;D for Texas Instruments where she conceptuali
 zed applications and\n  products for emerging technologies. One example is 
 her work on developing new RF Identification Systems with foreign governmen
 ts for tracking animals\, i.e. pigs in Holland\, reindeer in Finland\, and\
 n  cattle in Australia\, to control the spread of disease. She has also wor
 ked for one of the top design consulting firms\, S.G. Hauser in Los Angeles
 \, designing a variety of products\, from ophthalmic\n  laser handpieces to
  lady shavers\, for which she received an award for consumer product of the
  year. When not discovering how to make processes and performance product m
 ore sustainable\, Lorrie\n  spends time with her husband and four children.
