Learn how to thrive with healthy food on a lean budget. The OSU/Lane County Extension Service Nutrition Education Program is offering free hands on cooking classes at the Extension Service Auditorium
in Eugene on Wednesdays, April 16 – May 7, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Classes will focus on low-cost, easy recipes, made during the class, as well as nutritional information. The class is
designed to help those who want to learn more about healthy food and is offered to families who receive free and reduced school lunches or whose income meets the federal guidelines for assistance, to
participants of the Food Stamp Program, the Oregon Health Plan, Women Infants and Children (WIC), Head Start and similar programs. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. For more
