DESCRIPTION:Living on the Land is a workshop series tailored for small acre
 age landowners. There are 4 workshops in the series and a field tour. Works
 hops will focus on practical topics for small acreage\nmanagement\, includi
 ng pasture management\, weed control\, soil quality and water resources. Cl
 asses will take place on Wednesday nights\, October 15\, October 22\, Octob
 er 29 and November 5. The field\ntour will be on Saturday\, November 1 and 
 will include stops to visit with landowners in Linn County. We’ll learn a
 bout some of the management practices neighbors are implementing on their l
 and.\nPre-registration is required as space is limited to 40 participants.
