\n The OSU Institute for Water and Watersheds\, Oregon Sea Grant Extension\, and the Oregon Water Resources Department are convening t his one-day symposium designed to provide information on wells with\n a fo cus on domestic wells and ground water challenged areas.\n
\n\n Keyn oting the conference will be Kevin McCray\, Executive Director of the Natio nal Ground Water Association. Melinda Kassen\, Trout Unlimited\, will discu ss ground water use in western states. Karl\n Wozniak\, OWRD ground water Hydrologist\, and Jerry Schmidt of the Oregon Ground Water Association will speak more specifically about ground water in Oregon. Other speakers inclu de Mike Gamroth (OSU\n Extension)\; Audrey Eldridge (Department of Environ mental Quality)\; Adam Stebbins (Benton County) and Dave Livesay (GSI Water Solutions\, Inc.)\; Turner Odell (Oregon Consensus Program at PSU)\;\n Ba rbara Rich (Deschutes County Environmental Health)\; and Genie and Glenn Ha rden. Water Resources Graduate Program student Abby Brown (Oregon Sea Grant -Oregon Water Resources Department Fellow)\n will present on the Neighborh ood Ground Water Network she is coordinating in the Eola Hills. The symposi um will conclude with a facilitation to determine needs.\n
