  Project of the Integrated Plant Protection Center (IPPC) at Oregon State U
 niversity (OSU)\, The\n  USDA Western Region IPM Center Functional Agro-Bio
 diversity Work Group (the FAB Work Group)\, the Xerces Society for Inverteb
 rate Conservation\, the National Center for Appropriate Technology and\n  G
 athering Together Farm have planned an extraordinary evening of&nbsp\; ecol
 ogical discovery\, a tour of biodiversity practices at Gathering Together F
 arm\, and a rare night walk all\n  combined with a delicious gourmet organi
 c dinner!&nbsp\; We are farmers\, conservationists\, scientists and agricul
 tural support personnel from the western USA that make up the FAB Work\n  G
 roup.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; We meet on a regular basis to promote and develop ecolo
 gical practices that enhance on-farm biodiversity that can be adopted on fa
 rms in our region and we would like\n  you to join us <strong>Tuesday\, Jul
 y 21st from 6-10 PM at Gathering Together Farm\, in Philomath OR</strong> f
 or this exceptional evening.\n  &nbsp\;\n</p>&nbsp\;\n<p>\n  This is an opp
 ortunity for you to see progressive biodiversity enhancement practices that
  are driving sustainable agriculture forward in the 21st century\, to\n  ha
 ve access to some of the specialists who are helping us understand the role
  and importance of local on-farm biodiversity and learn first-hand what nig
 ht-active animals contribute to the vital web\n  of biodiversity and crop p
 roduction at Gathering Together Farm (GTF). &nbsp\;You will be enjoying thi
 s intimate snapshot of our local agricultural biodiversity over a gourmet o
 rganic\n  dinner prepared by expert chef\, JC Mersmann.&nbsp\; GTF (<a href

  &nbsp\;is owned by John Eveland and Sally Brewer and has been a certified 
 organic\n  vegetable farm for over 20 years.&nbsp\; They are a 300 share CS
 A with an on-farm restaurant and market.&nbsp\; They attend 7 local farmers
  markets\, and sale to local\n  restaurants and wholesale markets. The farm
  consists of several small\, parcels of land\, hugging the Mary's River\, t
 hat total about 65 acres. They have a four year old beetle bank and abundan
 t\n  blooming habitat all season long partially due to their long-time part
 nership with Wild Garden Seeds\, which grows certified organic flower and v
 egetable seeds on site.\n</p>
