An innovative method for designing interdisciplinary courses will be modeled in this four-session discussion series. Participants will examine the role of the public university in a democratic society through videos, short readings, and facilitated discussions. In addition to lively discussions regarding society and schooling, participants will explore a method of course design that emphasizes cross disciplinary generalizations and the construction of logical arguments. Please commit to all four sessions. Facilitated by Robin Pappas & Kay Sagmiller.
