Services at the IRB include:
- Exempt determinations: Review of documents submitted for potential exemption
- Oversight determination: Determinations of whether a project requires IRB review
- Faculty advising: Pre-submission advising, assistance with changes to approved protocols, and responses to stipulation notices
- Student advising: Drop-in hours for students
