Why do we have an Electoral College? A panel of OSU faculty from the School of History, Philosophy, and Religion and the School of Public Policy will address this question by examining the origins
and implications of the Electoral College. Using historical, political, racial, philosophical and comparative lenses, panelists will discuss the purpose that the Electoral College serves in US
democracy. Presentations by the panelists will be followed by questions and audience discussion.
