Presented by Salwa Massad PhD, Research Manager for the World Health Organization Palestinian National Institute of Public Health Project, Adjunct Associate Research Scientist for the Institute of Human Nutrition at Columbia University, Assistant Professor at Birzeit University, Palestine, and consultant for the United Nations Relief and Work Agency

Salwa Massad, PhDSalwa Massad possesses over 14 years’ experience in doing research and data analysis—and more than 7 years’ experience in teaching statistics and research methods for graduate students.

With a solid grounding in epidemiology, research skills, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, Dr Massad is strongly committed to improve health through teaching, training, research and monitoring and evaluation.

Research interests: child development, nutrition, mental health, quality of life, communicable and non-communicable diseases, gender, HIV research, vital statistics, health services research, and monitoring and evaluation.
