Wildland Fire Info for Small Woodlands

Join us for an evening tour on wildland fire and how it applies to small woodland owners. Topics will include:

• causes of fire

• fire prevention

• fighting fire

• defensible space around homes and buildings.

Speakers include Dan Leavell, OSU Extension Klamath Falls, Bill Mahr and others from Oregon Department of Forestry who will be bringing equipment to demonstrate. Together these speakers bring extensive background in fighting wildland, as well as structural fires. Yes, a wet spring is a great time to learn about wildfire!

Time: 4:00-7:00 pm

Location: Meet at 4:00 at the ODFW office visitor parking area, 7118 NE Vandenberg Ave, Adair Village. We will carpool to site near Airlie (where parking is very limited).
