South Sudan, what image does this name prompt for you? How much do you know of the beautiful sights and sounds of the various nations in the continent of Africa? 
This year a serious global crisis is affecting South Sudan. As global citizens, what can we do to show care and love? Join this event to know more about the famine in South Sudan. Dr, Larry Becker will present on the history and politics of the region and will highlights avenues for activism. A professor of Environmental Sciences; he specializes in African agricultural and food systems, development, and geography of Africa (Mali and Côte d'Ivoire in particular).
