Distinguished Professor Lecture: John Selker

Seeing Water Through Fresh Eyes

John Selker has done groundbreaking work in environmental instrumentation, soil physics and hydrology, creating innovative new applications in fiber optics. His work to explain how water moves through soils and on surfaces relates to everything from modern agriculture to ecology, aquatic science, groundwater and the protection of our environment.

A pre-reception, hosted by the Office of the Provost and the Colleges of Agricultural Sciences and Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, will take place at 2:45 p.m.
