Tomatoes, Salsa, and MORE!

The workshop will include the basics of canning tomatoes using both water bath and pressure canning methods. Learn to make a variety of salsas that can be safely canned at home. Included will be basic salsa/ sauces using tomatoes, tomatillos, as well as, seasonal fruits such as peaches and mangos. Class will also cover making your own tomato sauces as well as freezing and drying tomatoes. Hands on activities and lots of sampling included. (Cost $30 per person.) Class fee includes handouts and snacks.  Class will be held at the Community of Christ Church 1485 Gilham Rd., Eugene
