Smoking and Curing - includes Sausage and Jerky Making

Saturday, October 14, 2017 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

The class will include tips on smoking meat, fish, veggies and even cheese. Learn what is safe and what is not. Included will be tips on curing your own meats, making summer sausage and jerky. Workshop will show various kinds of smokers and techniques. Lunch will be provided featuring smoked and cured products shown in class. (Cost $60 per person.) Class fee includes handouts and snacks. Class will be held at Community of Christ Church 1485 Gilham Rd., Eugene
