Full Moon Campus Ramble

Wednesday, September 6, 2017 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Cub Kahn and Jill Sisson will lead a quiet twilight walk through the OSU campus to observe the sunset and full moonrise. We’ll reflect through photography and writing (your choice) on the perceptible shift of the seasons from summer’s intense light and heat to autumn’s “mellow fruitfulness.” The Ramble will cover about two miles at a leisurely pace. All levels of writing and photographic experience and interest are welcome. We’ll share our favorite images and writing from the Ramble at a follow-up evening session (7:00-8:30 p.m.) on campus on Wed., Sep. 13.

Cub Kahn has led dozens of photo workshops and written four books about nature photography including The Art of Photographing Water. Jill Sisson, who has spent recent summers as a seasonal naturalist in the Sawtooth Mtns. National Recreational Area, Death Valley National Park and Silver Falls State Park, shares her nature writing and photography through the Brambled Way blog.
