SAC Presents: Body and Soul, A Film by Oscar Micheaux

Featuring a remixed score by Paul D. Miller, aka DJ Spooky, performed live with Miller and a stellar ensemble of contemporary musicians.

Body and Soul (1925), the best-known silent film of pioneer black film maker Oscar Micheaux starring singer/actor/athlete Paul Robeson, has been fully restored for the Pioneers of African-American Cinema Collection. This multimedia showing includes a remixed score by Paul D. Miller performed live with a stellar ensemble of contemporary musicians.
