Douglas County 4-H New Volunteer Leader Training

Thursday, November 9, 2017 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM

4-H provides many worthwile educational opportunities for youth.  Our main 4-H goal is to provide youth with life skills.  These life skills include:  goal setting, decision making, public speaking, responsibility, leadership, positive self-esteem, citizenship and teamwork.  At the same time, the 4-H experience provides opportunities for adult leaders to gain new skills and knowledge.

This New Volunteer Leader Training session is one part of the process in becoming a New 4-H Leader.  Please visit our website to download the application and read more about the process.  

Pre-registration required by November 6th at 5:00PM

Additional training sessions will be held:  December 12th from 5:30-9:30PM and January 13th from 9:00AM-1:00PM.
