OSU MG Study Group: Mulches

Counts towards education/recertification credit.

Monday, April 16, 2018 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Master Gardener Chip Greening will lead a session on mulches.  We all accept the conventional wisdom that mulch is a good thing for our gardens, but why?  This study guide will explore the benefits of mulching.  We will also look at a wide range of mulch materials and the pros and cons of each—from plastic sheeting to grass clippings to crushed rock to wood chips or bark.  Finally, we will discuss when and how to mulch.  A study guide to be worked on before the session will be sent out in advance.

Qualifies for two hours of education/recertification credit.

Registration is required for first time attendees.
