Farm and Ranch Succession Workshop - Douglas County

Experts and grower panel will explain how to pass on the farm

Friday, March 9, 2018 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The lack of succession plans can have a dramatic effect on a working land owner’s family, the future of the business they’ve built, and their legacy of land.   Having a comprehensive succession plan in place can reduce the stress and cost of dividing the estate for the family when the owner passes.  And a well-planned estate can help with passing a viable farm business to the next generation of owner operators – whether or not they’re family members.

To help growers take the next step in planning, Douglas County Farm Bureau, OSU Extension, and Rogue Farm Corps are coordinating a Farm and Ranch Succession Workshop.
