In wood-based machining operations, tool wear is the one critical factor that needs to be addressed and overcome. Vast studies on tool wear have indicated that the two pressing issues related to tool wear are on methods to reduce and to measure it. This webinar will introduce the subject in tool wear in terms of its mechanisms and effects among others, followed by a promising method on how to increase tool life of tungsten carbide tools.
