The Hunting Ground Screening and Panel


Thursday, February 22, 2018 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Join Buxton, Cauthorn, Hawley and Poling Halls for a screening of the groundbreaking documentary The Hunting Ground on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 6:30- 9:00 pm. The event will take place in Austin Hall’s Stirek Auditorium (room 183) and will include the 1 hour and 43 minute film screening, followed by a panel discussion with experts across campus and from our Corvallis community (including undergraduate, graduate student, faculty and community leader representation). Light refreshments will be served.

Staff from the OSU Survivor Advocacy and Resource Center (SARC) will be available throughout the event to provide confidential support. This event is being hosted with support from SARC, the Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council and Westside Area Council.

Accessibility Information:

  • Austin Hall is wheelchair accessible from both the front and back entrances. Stirek Auditorium (room 183) is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp on the left side of the room and accessible seating in both the front and back of the auditorium.
  • There are 2 single stall, gender inclusive bathrooms on the first floor, which are both wheelchair accessible. There are also multi stall “women’s” and “men’s” designated bathrooms with wheelchair accessible stalls in them.
  • We cannot guarantee a scent-free event space.
  • Childcare will not be provided.
  • The documentary is in English and will have closed captioning.
  • Austin Hall is bus-accessible, with stops on both sides of Jefferson Avenue that are serviced by the NW, W1 and W2 Beaver Bus routes.
  • The closest parking options are on the north and south sides of Sackett Hall.
