Introduction to FSMA for Small & Very Small Businesses

Introductory Session -

This is recommended for those businesses that are just begining to engage in learning about the requirements for FSMA & for those small businesses that are considering taking the 2.5 day standardized FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food training.

Session Objectives

  • Brief introduction to FSMA & seven foundational rules
  • Overview of FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Foods rule
  • Become famililar with who is covered, who may be partially or fully exempt
  • Learn important implementation dates

This course will be taught by FIC instructors Dr. Jovana Kovacevic and Ms. Doretta Claycomb, who are also certified Lead Instructors for FSMA Preventive Controls curriculum.
