OSU Provost Authors & Editors Celebration

Tara Williams & Geoff Barstow

Monday, April 16, 2018 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Tara Williams & Geoff Barstow, featured authors on Monday.
Each year, the Provost honors OSU faculty who've published book-length contributions to their fields. Publication of these books is an important dimension to faculty creativity that goes through a rigorous peer review process, and is an important part of validating their work. Join us on April 16th from 6-7:30pm, as we celebrate OSU authors at the Autzen House with a short reading and reception. Featured authors on Monday are Tara Williams (School of Writing, Literature, and Film) reading from Middle English Marvels: Magic, Spectacle, and Morality, and Geoff Barstow (School of History, Philosophy, and Religion) reading from Food of Sinful Demons: Meat, Vegetarianism, and the Limits of Buddhism in Tibet.

All OSU authors and editors publishing books last year will be acknowledged, and information regarding their work will be available for guests.
