Intermediate and Advanced dance students with studio jazz dance experience are invited to audition for a 1 credit Jazz III class for winter term. A strong background in jazz and ballet dance is highly recommended. This class is solely a performance class to prepare for the 29th anniversary Oregon Dance Concert at the Majestic Theatre, and for the Cool Shoes Concert at LaSells. The Oregon Dance performances will be held on April 18 & 19, 2008. The Cool Shoes Concert date is in May. Students must commit to perform in both concerts. Audition Date is Wednesday, January 9 at 3:45 p.m. Location: W.B. 118 Interested students must be able to attend the weekly rehearsals on Wednesday’s from 3:45 – 5:50. Additional rehearsal time will also be required during the quarter, and at the beginning of spring term.
