The 8th annual Extension Small Farms Conference is scheduled for Saturday, February 16, 2008, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The one-day conference will be held on the Corvallis campus of Oregon State
University at the Alumni Center. This year’s program features key note speaker Fred Kirschenmann, farmer and Distinguished Fellow at the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, who will discuss
“Small Farms: Agriculture of the Past, or Agriculture of the Future?” Andrew Stout of Full Circle Farms, in Washington will close the conference with a presentation about growing your farm business,
