For a free nitrate screening of your well water, bring about ½ cup of untreated water in a clean, water-tight container. You may either wait for your results (the test takes 5 to 10 minutes if the
well water clinic is not busy), or stop by before 4:00 p.m. to pick up your test report and container. A water quality educator will be available to help answer questions.
