The Craft of Writing Series is proud to present Clemens Starck and Charles Goodrich, two of Corvallis’ prized poets to read from their award winning publications. Long-time friends and lively
spirits, Goodrich and Starck are sure to give an entertaining reading. Goodrich is the author of The Insects of South Corvallis, which received national attention when five poems from the collection
were read on National Public Radio by Garrison Keillor. His poetry has also won him fellowships from the Oregon Arts Commission, Fishtrap, and the Walt Morey Fellowship from Literary Arts. Starck
also has two collections out including Journeyman's Wages, for which he was the Winner of the Oregon Book Award for Poetry and the William Stafford Memorial Poetry Award. His other collections
include Traveling Incognito, and China Basin.
