Throw your banjo on your bike, work up an appetite, and jot down your carbon questions because you are invited to an evening of carbon-conscious celebration. The Student Sustainability Center
(738 SW 15th St.) will host a Carbon-Free Jubilee on Wednesday, February 27th from 5:00 to 7:00. Throughout the evening, they will serve local, organic food and drinks for free. The Jubilee
is a low-waste event, so bring your own plate and cup if you can (they’ll have some too). Stop by to cast your vote in the Campus Carbon Challenge photo contest, take a tour of the Student
Sustainability Center and gardens, get free advice from a professional home-energy auditor, check out OSU’s Solar Trailer, and learn more about reducing your carbon emissions. From 6:00-6:30
there will be a “Glocal” discussion about local and global climate change issues. Everyone is also welcome to join the acoustic Jubilee Jam, which will be going on throughout the evening.
