A volunteer food pantry training event will be offered at OSU/Lane County Extension Service on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a tour of FOOD for Lane County for
those interested from 3:00-4:00 pm. The training will prepare interested individuals to volunteer in a program designed to promote the use and nutritional quality of underutilized foods given in food
boxes at pantry sites throughout Lane County. This is a collaborative effort with FOOD for Lane County. Space is limited, and pre-registration by Friday, March 8 is requested. For more information
