Please join Dr. Natalie Dollar in this opportunity to learn community dialogue on Sundays March 2nd through March 16th from 4:30 to 6:30PM in Cascades Hall room 118. The workshop is intended to
provide a safe, structured environment for learning how dialogue can be used as an alternative to debate, argument, advocacy when discussing contested community issues. What are the religious,
scientific and spiritual views of the origins of our world? Participants will not be allowed to advocate, persuade, or argue positions. Instead, participants will be encouraged to engage the
complexity of ideas, seek to understand other's views, bring forth the diversity of views in our community, and be open to relationships with persons with whom we have significant differences of
opinion. The goals for the CDW series are: (1) to facilitate participant's understanding of dialogue as an intentional way of interacting and relating to others that differs from debate, argument
& persuasion; and (2) to provide a safe, structured space for practicing dialogue skills and sensibilities when engaging a meaningful yet contested community issue. If you would like more
information about this workshop series, please contact Dr. Natalie Dollar, 541-322-3140, ndollar@osucascades.edu or visit The Community Dialogue Project.
