There will be pizza, as always, and a recap of the Tacoma SPDC, but the primary function of this meeting will be to select new officers for the 2008–09 academic year. The four positions that are
definitely on the election agenda include President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Other potential positions include Webmaster, Social Chair, and Service Chair. Additional positions may
be considered as well, if you can provide a convincing argument (and a nominee).
If you're willing to commit a little bit of time to ASME, in return for great leadership experience and a resume-builder, please consider running for one of these positions. To get your name in the
hat, just show up at Thursday night's meeting!
