The Centro Cultural César Chávez will have Dan Goldrich, former political science professor, here on campus on Thursday, May 8th in MU 213 @ 5pm The immigration debate now is too mean-spirited, and
lacks decent legalization policy elements, as well as being too narrowly focused. This presentation looks at the effect of US policies pushed on Mexico in its economic crisis of the early 1980’s and
its economic impact and what lies ahead. He will be giving a unique presentation about immigration from a historical perspective. Come prepared to ask the tough questions!
