Contingency, Corporatization, and Academic Freedom"

American Association of University Professors (AAUP) National President Cary Nelson will be giving a talk May 21st at 7 pm in 200 Gleeson. He will inform the OSU community about the need for stronger
governance of the university by faculty to avoid the dangerous path being taken, such as corporatization and the reduction of tenure. Nelson is Jubilee Professor of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the
University of Illinois Urbana.
