An exploration of and respectful conversation about the cost of racism to White/Caucasian/ European American people. It is not uncommon for majority people to experience confusion and feelings of guilt as we learn and understand more about racism. However, we rarely, if ever, gather as a group to identify, consider or discuss the personal and collective cost of racism to those who think of ourselves as White, Caucasian or European American. Although we hold the support of other groups in the highest regard, this session is specifically designed for White/Caucasian/European Americans who are interested in open, direct and to the point discussion of the subject with others of like racial identity.
Sponsored by the Office of Community and Diversity and the OSU Campus Coalition Builders. Special accommodations may be requested by contacting Jodi Nelson at jodi.nelson@oregonstate.edu or 541-737-0715 by May 14th.
