Shade provided by trees in parking lots provides many benefits to cities, including reducing excessive heat buildup,
improving air quality, and managing stormwater runoff. The speakers in this session will look at all facets of design,
species selection, and management of trees in parking lots.

The seminars will be presented at the Natural Resources Education Center, managed by Chemeketa Community College, at the Oregon Garden in Silverton on seven Tuesdays at 1-4:15 PM from November 3rd to December 15th.
