Wer Früher Stirbt, Ist Länger Tot (Grave Decisions)
2006, Germany
Dir. Marcus H. Rosenmüller
German, with English subtitles
102 minutesBecause of the responsibility he feels for his mother's death, a young boy named Sebastian - who always seems to say and do the wrong thing - looks for a way to make her memory live on while also searching for a new wife for his barkeep father. This is a film that deals with death but that’s surprisingly full of offbeat humor and everyday magic.
