H1N1 (Swine) Flu Shot Clinic

Wednesday, November 4, 2009 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Only OSU students, faculty and staff are eligible for the campus clinics. Student Health Services has a very limited supply of injectable H1N1 flu vaccine, which will be available on Wednesday, November 4 at the Memorial Union, Room 109, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Shots will be given on a priority basis to the following groups of OSU students, faculty and staff:

  • Pregnant women
  • People who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age
  • Health care and emergency medical personnel
  • People up to age 24
  • People from 25 through 64 years of age with certain chronic medical conditions or a weakened immune system

Due to the limited supply of vaccine, you will be turned away if you do not meet the above criteria. When more vaccine becomes available, other individuals not in these priority groups may be vaccinated.

The cost is $10 for students and $15 for faculty and staff. If you are covered by PEBB Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon, the fee will be billed directly to Regence. Otherwise, faculty and staff may pay on site by cash or check and students may elect to bill their OSU student accounts. Bring your insurance card and OSU ID card. No appointment is necessary. Please wear clothing that allows easy access to your arm in order to expedite the vaccinations.

PLEASE NOTE: These H1N1 vaccinations are by injection only; no nasal spray vaccine is available at this time.
