"Understanding Nutritional Challenges Faced by Individuals, Families, and Communities" Joseph Sharkey, PhD, RD, MPH. Dr. Sharkey’s research interests are in the area of food behavior & healthy food access, nutrition education & empowerment – especially in at risk/minority populations; consumer/market influences on food security.

Dr. Sharkey is a candidate for a position in as Endowed Director of the Moore Family Center for Whole Grain Foods, Nutrition and Preventive Health.

Dr. Sharkey will also present his vision for the Moore Family Center on Friday Feb 10th, 11-noon, in Hallie Ford Center room 115
