Relentless - Public Premiere

Friday, March 2, 2012 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM

A documentary film, Relentless, chronicling a year in the life of the champion Global Formula Racing team (GFR) will debut at a free public screening on Friday, March 2, beginning at 6:00 pm.

The event will be held in Room 112, Kearney Hall, 1491 SW Campus Way, Corvallis. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The formula cars will be available for viewing in the lobby of Kearney Hall beginning at 6 p.m., with the 40-minute documentary starting at 6:30 pm. Following the screening, members of the team will share their personal experiences and answer questions from the audience.

The Global Formula Racing team is made up of students in a multinational partnership who design and build formula cars for an extremely competitive international racing circuit.  With members from Oregon State and DHBW Ravensburg, Germany, GRF is only the third team in history to win back-to-back national championships.

The documentary is produced and directed by Justin Smith. The project is a collaboration funded by Oregon State’s Division of University Relations and Marketing, the OSU Foundation, and the College of Engineering.
