Come harvest gardening tips, whether you grow ornamental or edible plants. 10-Minute University™ classes will offer essential gardening information for those who want to clean up the garden bed, prepare a new bed, grow a winter vegetable garden, or make new containers for fall and winter. Fall is also the ideal time to check your soil pH; adding amendments in the fall gets your soil ready for spring planting.

Learn how to:

• Know your soil pH and make appropriate fall adjustments; put your ornamental garden “to bed”; extend the vegetable garden growing season;

• Sow cool-season crops for harvest next spring or summer; plant containers to jazz up your garden through fall and winter; and

• Grow a healthy and productive community of soil microorganisms to sustain a healthy, productive garden.
