Thinning for Quality and Vigor

Thursday, September 20, 2012 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Your chainsaw is fired up and you're ready to cut some trees in your overly dense stand....Which ones?  How do you decide?  This program focuses on tree selection in thinning based on individual tree vigor and potential to meet various objectives, rather than pre-determined spacing rules.  Focus on leaving high quality, vigorous trees and your stand will grow better be healthier over time.

Pre-registration is requested.

Co-sponsred by the Jackson/Josephine Small Woodland Assocation and the OSU Extension Service.
