Are you thinking about selling some timber from your property, for income, stand improvement, or other purposes?  How do you go about it?  How can you get a fair price for your logs, and leave your property in a good condition? This program covers the basics of a timber sale, from planning, to logging, to cleanup. A key theme throughout: Plan ahead.  Know what you are doing and why - don't just respond to a perceived good market or solicitation.
