Swine Reproduction & Artificial Insemination Workshop- for new and beginning farmers and those interested in diversifying genetics on their farms.

Tim Safranski, State Swine Breeding Specialist with the University of Missouri and Gene Pirelli, Swine Specialist with Oregon State University Extension Service will be teaching this workshop.

 The agenda includes class time on sow and gilt health, detection of estrus, intrauterine insemination, artificial insemination (AI) technique and equipment and a hands-on AI session.
