This workshop is for faculty interested in incorporating service-learning into new or existing courses. We will discuss opportunities, challenges, and best practices in service-learning, including how to make the experience meaningful for both students and community partners. Information will also be provided about participation in the Center for Teaching and Learning's Service-Learning Faculty Learning Communities, including tips for writing a strong proposal to participate in the program in Winter or Spring 2013.
