Obesity and Healthy Lifestyles Core Meeting

The Obesity and Healthy Lifestyles Core is holding our first meeting of this year. We will discuss current faculty projects, review open RFAs, consider intersections, and identify potential collaborative opportunities. Open RFAs of relevance for review include:
  • Healthy Promotion for Children with Physical Disabilities Through PA and Diet: Developing an Evidence Base (NIHR01)
  • Home and Family Based Approaches for the Prevention or Management of Overweight or Obesity in Early Childhood (NIHR01)
  • Healthy Habits: Timing for Developing Sustainable Healthy Behaviors in Children and Adolescents (NIHR01)
  • Exploratory/Developmental Clinical Research Grants in Obesity (NIHR21)
  • Time Sensitive Obesity Policy and Program Evaluation (NIH R01/R03)
  • Interventions for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in Native American Populations (NIHR01)
  • Improving Diet and Physical Activity Assessment (R01/R21)
