This Veterans Day and POW/MIA Ceremony at Oregon State University honor those who have served on our nation’s
behalf and who have made great sacrifices to defend our country’s freedom. The ceremony will commence at 11:00 AM Friday, November 9, 2012. The ceremony will include a message from keynote speaker Lt
Col Andrew Poorman, a missing man drill sequence, a joint service color guard, the reading of Oregon’s POW/MIA, a 24-hour candlelight vigil and a 12-hour POW/MIA flag walk around the MU Quad. The
vigil and the flag walk will be manned by cadets of the OSU Army and Air Force ROTC Units.
