Indigenous Feast

A way of giving thanks, sharing food

In collaboration with the Native American Longhouse and the American Indian Initiatives of Intercultural Student Services the UHDS Dining Services Staff and members of the UHDS Diversity Initiative would like to invite you to attend Indigenous Feast to help celebrate Native American Heritage Month and International Education Week from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Nov. 15, at McNary Dining Center's Boardwalk Cafe.

regaliaCost is $10. Residents may use their UHDS Dining Dollars; off-campus students, faculty and staff may use Orange Rewards. Come celebrate with us! 

The menu includes:

  • Black and White Bean Cake (Southeastern)
  • Navajo Fry Bread (Southwest)
  • Pumpkin Soup (Northeast)
  • Maple Molasses Baked Beans (Northeast)
  • Roasted Duck with Wild Rice and Wild Mushroom Stuffing with Huckelberry Glaze (Northwast)
  • Ember-Roasted Buffalo (The Great Plains)
  • Navajo Stuffed Sweet Peppers (Southwest) (vegetarian)
  • Carrot Hash (Southwest)
  • Green Salad with Cranberries and Hazelnuts (West)
  • Blueberry Upside Down Cake (The Great Plains)
  • Creek Blackberry Cobbler (Southeast)
