A one-day workshop exploring pond construction for small farmers and landowners wanting to install ponds for irrigation needs. this class will cover establishing irrigation needs, determining pond size and design, pond permits, and considerations in pond construction. Half-day in class and half-day touring ponds in the Little Applegate.  In partnership with Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District. Instructors: Paul DeMaggio, Engineer Jackson SWCD; Kathy Smith, Watermaster, OWRD; Roake Ball, Roarke's Earthworks.
