Martin and Music

 A riveting combination of spoken word and a delicate, yet profound thread of music and narrative, Martin & Music is a jubilant and compelling stage production.  Gerald C. Rivers sets ablaze the words, authentic tone, and life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. -- one of the world's greatest civil rights leaders and orators -- while Charles Holt brings the musical and melodic breath that marries a powerful trio of message, music, and storytelling.

Gerald C. Rivers has been referred to as "the voice of the late, great Rev. Dr.Martin Luther King, Jr".  Mr. Rivers has dedicated his life's work to keeping alive the spirit and inspiration of Dr. King through his awe inspiring renditions. 

Charles Holt is an actor, songwriter, inspirational speaker, producer, recording artist, entrepreneur, and author. He has starred in some of the most celebrated productions in American theatre. He has been a featured performer in the Broadway runs of Smokey Joe’s Café, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Lion King. He has guest starred in television and film roles including Law & Order: Criminal Intent, All My Children, the award-winning independent film, Anne B. Real, and thought-provoking comedy, Ed’s Trip.
