Speaker: Jon DeVaan, Senior Vice President Windows Development, Microsoft

As corporate vice president of Windows Development, Jon DeVaan manages the engineering team responsible for creating Microsoft Windows. One of the earliest programmers on Microsoft Excel, the Oregon State alumnus has helped develop the fundamental engineering practices used across Microsoft. A 28-year veteran of the company, he has worked in the Windows, Windows Server, Desktop Applications Office and TV Divisions. Jon will share what he has learned throughout his career about the importance of improving.
